Foxtrot, Waltz, and Tango are smooth dances that progress around the room. These dances are easy to learn, versatile, and very useable at social occasions. Salsa, Rumba, and Cha Cha are Latin dances that work well on smaller dance floors. These rhythms are fun and sexy, and easy to learn. These dances fit many contemporary songs as well as the great classics. East Coast and West Coast Swing are great for dancing to Classic Rock, Contemporary Rock, and Blues. Swing is great for small dance floors, has lots of room for individual styling, and is the most popular social dance in the USA.
Strength Training Classes: are appropriate for all levels, and a great way to learn proper technique and increase muscular strength and endurance. Strength Basics is an introduction to strength training techniques and exercises. Senior Strength is based on the Strong Living program based on the work of Miriam Nelson. This class is specifically designed for the active older adult but all are welcome.

TRX® ( “All Core, All the Time” ):The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. Rip Training utilizes a lever bar and resistance cord to provide a unique mix of rotation, core stability, control, power, strength, mobility, metabolic conditioning, balance and coordination challenges. The Rip Trainer allows users to engage in unlimited movements which, when performed properly, enhance fluidity and range of motion and decrease the risk of injury. The group TRX® classes are primarily Suspension Training classes incorporating the Rip Trainer for specific training intervals. Pilates: STOTT PILATES® incorporates modern exercise principles, and applies proven and accepted practices in biomechanics, rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement. STOTT PILATES exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints. This involves placing more emphasis on pelvic and scapular stabilization, and integration of all the parts of the body into one. As well, preparatory exercises and modifications allow the technique to be appropriate for many different body types and abilities, making it applicable to sport-specific training and everyday life.Multi-Level Mat class is appropriate for all levels.
One on One and Small Group Training
You want to get the most out of your classes and we want you to get the most out of your time spent in class. One on one training allows you to focus on building a solid foundation in proper technique, movement sequencing and appropriate modifications for your body/your needs. Pilates and TRX classes as well as the Ballroom dance classes can be especially challenging if this style of exercise/movement is new to you or if your have specific physical issues to accommodate. Small group training is great way to get the benefits of a one on one session while sharing the cost and the fun. It is most fulfilling if the participants are of similar level in experience.
