BALLROOM & SWING DANCING 

Our philosophy is simple, anyone can learn to dance.  If you want to learn, we can teach you! 

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT DANCE STYLES?

Foxtrot, Waltz, and Tango are smooth dances that progress around the room. These dances are easy to learn, versatile, and very useable at social events. 

Salsa, Rumba, and Cha-Cha-Cha are Latin dances that work well on smaller dance floors. These dances are fun, sexy, and easy to learn. Latin dances fit many contemporary songs as well as the great classics. 

​East Coast and West Coast Swing are great for dancing to Classic Rock, Contemporary Rock, and Blues. Swing is great for small dance floors, has lots of room for individual styling, and is the most popular social dance in the USA​.

Social dancing is fun and easy to learn. We start with partnering skills, general dance technique and then add patterns. In addition, music and dance identification are discussed as well as styling and flair.

PRIVATE DANCE LESSONS
Private instruction is a wonderful way to learn faster and at your own pace. Perfect for those with limited time or preparing for a specific event. 

Combining group classes with private instruction is the most effective way of learning partner dancing.

Lessons are typically done at our studio but can be done off site by special arrangement.

GROUP DANCE CLASSES
We are currently running an ongoing, multi-level Swing Dancing class on Tuesdays. Beginners are always welcome. We do not switch partners and so it is best to attend with a partner. The class is $20/couple.

Beginning January 2024, we are adding an ongoing, multi-level Latin Dancing class on Thursdays at 6:30pm.
