Pilates is a movement practice that focuses on developing the deep inner core of the body to create movement patterns that are supported through stability, to address and correct posture, to restore and balance the muscles and curvatures of the spine. The principles include Concentration, Control, Centering, Fluidity and Breathing. Through this practice the body becomes more stable, strong, and fluid, gaining mobility and ease of movement. with an improvement in posture and alignment.
Ideal for those with physical issues that cannot be properly addressed in a group class environment, or for those who are new to Pilates practice, or for those who want to focus on specific goals or scheduling. Sessions are available with either Pam or Andrea.
